With a four-decade career as an engineer in telecommunications, Tim applies his experience and skills overseeing all operations of WGFY with special attention to technical needs.
With a four-decade career as an engineer in telecommunications, Tim applied his experience and skills overseeing all operations of WGFY with special attention to technical needs from the inception of WGFY — With Grace For You — until September 17, 2023 when an unforeseen medical event abruptly terminated his earthly life. Tim combined his technical knowledge with his servant-filled heart and passion that others may come to a saving knowledge and experience of Jesus Christ — the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Our WGFY family feels deeply Tim’s absence, yet rests confidently in the assurance of Jesus who said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live” (John 11:25).
Serving in a long-tenured administrative career with a public utility, Wanda provides detailed oversight to WGFY’s financial operations.
With an effective career in nursing followed in later years as a healthcare consultant and member of a Joint Commission Evaluation Team (hospital accrediting organization), Ellie offers a sharp mind for details. Ellie is also the principal presenter for Prophecy: The Real Story.
Bryan serves as Lead Pastor of the Sharon Seventh-day Adventist Church providing perspective on all aspects of WGFY’s ministry. Bryan is also the host of Bible Breakthrough.
With experience in both the faith and non-profit communities, Tyler energetically engages with individuals and entities in metro Charlotte sharing the mission of WGFY nurturing relationships of mutual purpose, service, and resources.
I felt that God was wanting to make some changes in my life. Some of these changes were changing the genre of radio that I was listening to at the time. During that timeframe I was changing, I came across an AM station that was a Christian station and began listening to it.
One of the programs on that station was Bible Answers Live*. During this process I was listening to all the questions coming in and also the subject about the Sabbath came up. I didn’t knowing anything about the Sabbath really being on Saturday so that was very interesting for me to come across a station that was bringing that to light for me. That was new. At first this was a little bit of shock to me, but then I felt God was saying “yes this is true.”

My friend, Linda, and I accidentally found the radio station and began listening. The depth of detail in the biblical instruction was impressive and intriguing.*
I was a quality insurance analyst and a business analyst for 33 years. I was a nonbeliever. I was encouraged by a friend to listen to the radio. After listening to many of the Bible teaching programs*, God grew in my heart and I knew the truth. The messages on this radio station were instrumental in converting me from being agnostic to believing in Christ and placing my faith in Christ as my Savior.
The Bible teaching has taken what doubt I had with Christ as being our Savior to giving me faith knowing that I have a Redeemer.
